Chiranjeevi receives he Lifetime Achievement Award in Public Service through Cultural Leadership at the House of Commons in London

Indian cinema luminary Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Public Service through Cultural Leadership from Bridge India at the British Parliament on Friday (March 20). The event took place at the House of Commons in London, UK where Chiranjeevi was felicitated for his contributions to cinema and society. It was attended by Parliament members from the British Labour Party such as Navendru Mishra, Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman. Mishra, MP for Stockport, hosted the event.
On X (formerly Twitter), Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude for the prestigious honour. He wrote, “Heart filled with gratitude for the honour at the House of Commons – UK Parliament by so many Esteemed Members of Parliament , Ministers & Under Secretaries, Diplomats. Humbled by their kind words. Heartened by the Life Time Achievement Award by Team Bridge India.”
Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi’s younger brother and the current Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, also shared pictures of the ceremony on social media and thanked the British Parliament for honouring the megastar.
Chiranjeevi, one of the biggest names in Telugu cinema, was conferred the Padma Vibhushan in 2024. He is a three-time recipient of the Nandi Awards. He established the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust in 1998, which had been providing blood and eye donations to the needy. He was also lauded for his philanthropic work during the Covid 19-induced pandemic.
