British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has shared new photos and videos from his recent visit to India, ahead of the release of his upcoming single Sapphire. The post, shared on his official social media accounts, includes moments with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, singer Arijit Singh, and a visit to the set of the S.S. Raajamouli’s Baahubali.

In one of the videos, Sheeran is seen singing the hook line of Sapphire alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The short clip has already gained significant attention online. “@iamsrk, love that guy so much,” Sheeran wrote in the caption.

This marks another meeting between Sheeran and Khan, following a previous interaction where they were seen dancing together to Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om and mimicking the actor’s signature pose. Sheeran’s fondness for India and its entertainment industry has been a recurring theme in his tours.

Another photo in the post shows Sheeran with Arijit Singh, whom he’s always maintained as a good friend. The two are seen having coffee together on a barge.

The post, which Sheeran captioned “Sapphire dumpington,” includes a variety of images from his trip. Among the other highlights is a picture of him sitting on the throne from the set of Baahubali, directed by S.S. Rajamouli. “I watched Baahubali in the cinema so flipped out seeing the set,” Sheeran noted.

Sheeran also shared other experiences from his time in India, including getting a tattoo in Punjabi and meeting several local musicians.

Sapphire is the third single from his forthcoming album Play, set to release on June 5. It follows the earlier releases of Old Phone and Azizam.
