Actor Divyabharathi has issued a clarification regarding the rumours surrounding her relationship with fellow actor and music director GV Prakash Kumar. The Maharaja actor took to Instagram to share a story in which she mentioned that she has no connection to Prakash’s family issues.
This comes after Prakash’s divorce with his ex-partner and famous playback singer, Saindhavi. It was rumoured that Divyabharathi was the reason for GV Prakash and Saindhavi’s separation and the actor has now clarified that she will never date an actor.
“My name has been dragged into a personal family matter that has absolutely nothing to do with me. I have no connection to GV’s family issues. To be blunt, I would never date an actor, and certainly not a married man,” she stated.

“I’ve remained silent until now, believing these baseless rumors didn’t deserve my attention. However, this has crossed a line. I refuse to let my reputation be tarnished by unfounded allegations. I am a strong, independent woman, and I will not be defined by gossip,” she added. “Let’s focus on building a better world, instead of spreading negativity. Respect my boundaries. This is my first and final statement on this matter.”
Divyabharathi and GV Prakash Kumar have previously teamed up for two films. While their film Bachelor marked Divyabharathi’s lead debut, they recently reunited for Kingston.
