Social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija has wiped her Instagram clean, deleting all posts and unfollowing everyone, days after YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s return to social media following the India’s Got Latent controversy. Her account, which boasts over three million followers, now displays zero posts and follows no one, although her Instagram Story highlights remain visible.

The sudden move has left her followers speculating whether she is planning a comeback or stepping away from the platform entirely. Apoorva, popularly known as ‘The Rebel Kid’, had remained silent since the controversy erupted earlier this year. A complaint was filed against her, Ranveer, and comedian Samay Raina over allegedly offensive remarks made during an episode of India’s Got Latent. The backlash was particularly intense for Ranveer, who recently returned to Instagram and YouTube.

While Apoorva refrained from commenting publicly, she had earlier reacted to an Instagram Reel by influencer Sufi Motiwala, who praised her fashion sense and acting skills in Nadaaniyan, where she had a supporting role. She responded to his critique of the film’s styling with a snide remark: “Got hated so hard that now even Sufi Motiwala doesn’t say hateful things about me.” Despite being part of the film, she did not promote it or attend its premiere.

Her absence from social media had extended beyond the controversy, with reports of her traveling abroad. A Reddit user even claimed she caused a scene at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris.

Meanwhile, she and Ranveer had recorded statements before the NCW and legal authorities.

There has been no official statement from Apoorva yet.
