Popular Tamil YouTuber and actor VJ Siddhu is all set to make his debut as a lead actor and director in an upcoming film titled Dayangaram. The film, produced by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International, was launched by actor Dhanush on his X handle on Friday (May 2).
A hilarious announcement promo — featuring Siddhu and his team at VJ Siddhu Vlogs, Ganesh, as well as actors Ilavarasu and Nithin Sathya — was unveiled to announce the news.
Other details regarding the plot, cast and crew remain unknown at the moment. The film’s title, ‘Dayangaram,’ is a nod to Siddhu’s famous dialogue from his vlogs: ‘Idhu Bayangaram Illa, Dayangaram.’’
Over the last few years, Siddhu’s vlogging channel VJ Siddhu Vlogs has experienced tremendous growth for its comical, youth-friendly content. Having already acted in 2021’s Trip, Siddhu found a major break on the silver screen in Pradeep Ranganathan’s recent blockbuster Dragon. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film also featured Siddhu’s partner-in-crime in VJ Siddhu Vlogs, Harshath Khan.
