A new poster for ‘Andaz Apna Apna’
Rajkumar Santoshi’s beloved comedy, Andaz Apna Apna, starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, will re-release in theatres on April 25, 2025, the makers have announced. The cult comedy-of-errors has been restored and remastered in 4K with Dolby 5.1 surround sound. Multiplex chain Cinepolis is re-releasing the film in its theatres..
The 1994 film enjoys an iconic status in popular Hindi cinema. Though not a major success upon release, the film grew a substantial fandom over the years, banking on its quirky cast of characters and slapstick brilliance. Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Viju Khote and Shehzad Khan supplied the gags alongside Aamir and Salman.
A trailer for the restored version will be unveiled by the makers soon.
Recently, both Aamir and Salman weighed in on plans for Andaz Apna Apna 2. “We would all want Andaz Apna Apna 2. We have told Raj ji (director Rajkumar Santoshi) to work on the script. As soon as his script is ready, Salman and I would definitely want to work on it. I think the audience would love to watch Andaz Apna Apna 2... Raj ji is working on the script,” Aamir said during a press interaction on his 60th birthday.
Salman, in a recent interview, also reiterated his hopes for a sequel. “I hope so. Inshallah. God willing,” he told Zoom.

Salman’s latest release, Sikandar, has amassed over ₹50 crore in three day since release, reports stated. The film marks Salman’s return to the big screen as a solo lead after Tiger 3.
