The makers of Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, have postponed the movie’s release date. The Telugu film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, was scheduled to release on May 30, 2025.
The makers said that the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions have made it difficult for the team to plan the promotions for the movie. The movie, produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Creations in association with Srikara Studios, will hit the screens on July 04, 2025.
“We explored every possibility to stick to the original date. But recent unforeseen events in the country and the current atmosphere have made it difficult for us to move forward with promotions or celebrations,” wrote the film team in a statement.
Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead in the movie. Naveen Nooli, who won the National Award for Best Editing for Jersey, will handle the editing, while Avinash Kolla handles production design and the film’s cinematography is by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan.
