Rapper Hanumankind, who is currently making waves with hit songs, has confirmed his track in Jana Nayagan,the final film of Tamil star Vijay. The movie is directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions.
“I have sung a great rap song for Thalapathy Vijay for Jana Nayagan. It is composed by Anirudh Ravichander,” said Hanumankind in an interview with Ananda Vikatan. Jana Nayagan is set to hit the screens on January 09, 2026. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in October 2025.
Hanumankind recently made headlines with his songs Big Dawgs and Run It Up. The Bengaluru-based Kerala rapper sang for the song ‘Madeva’ in the Kannada film Popcorn Moneky Tiger (2020), starring Dhananjaya and directed by Suri. He also rendered The Last Dance for the Malayalam movie Aavesham (2023), directed by Jeethu Madhavan and starring Fahadh Faasil.
Meanwhile, based on the promotional materials, Vijay’s Jana Nayagan seems to be a political actioner. The previously released first look had the star recreate his iconic selfie from the sets of Master in Neyveli in February 2020, while the second look featured the star wielding a whip, with ‘Naan Aanai Ittaal’ written as a tagline (‘Naan Aanai Ittaal’ is the iconic song of late actor-politician MG Ramachandran from his 1965 film, Enga Veettu Pillai.).

Starring Vijay’s Beast co-star Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film features an ensemble cast that includes veteran Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mamitha Baiju. While Anirudh Ravichander is the music director, Sathyan Sooriyan is handling the cinematography. Pradeep E Raghav is the editor and Analarasu is the stunt choreographer.
