The makers of the highly anticipated project, starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, have announced the film’s release date. The movie, to be originally shot in Telugu, will be dubbed in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Tentatively called NTRNeel, the movie marks the return of direction for Prashanth Neel, after his ambitious movie Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023). The movie was launched in September 2024, and the team began shooting at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
On April 29, 2025 (Tuesday), the makers revealed that the movie will release on June 25, 2026. Incidentally, SS Rajamouli inadvertently revealed the title of the film as Dragon while promoting RRR: Behind and Beyond in Japan.
Jr NTR, who was last seen in Devara: Part 1, joined the film shoot on April 22, 2025. The film is bankrolled by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Yerneni, Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju under Mythri Movie Makers and NTR arts banner. The cast and crew of the movie are yet to be announced.
