Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Ace,’ co-starring Rukmini Vasanth, gets a release date

Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film, Ace, directed by Arumugakumar, is all set to release in theatres on May 23, the makers announced on Saturday (April 19). Notably, the film marks Vijay’s reunion with the director after the 2018 black comedy Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren.

The makers unveiled a new poster of the film to announce the news.

Said to be a commercial action-entertainer, the film marks the Tamil debut of Kannada actor Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello fame.

Ace, which wrapped up shoots last year, also stars Yogi Babu, PS Avinash, Divya Pillai, Prithviraj and Rajkumar. With music scored by Justin Prabhakaran, the film has cinematography by Karan Bahadur Rawat and editing by R Govindaraj.

Arumugakumar also produces Ace under his 7CS Entertainment banner.
