Left to Right – Hiroaki Hirata voices Sanji & Kappei Yamaguchi voices Usopp

The subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service Crunchyroll has announced that Kappei Yamaguchi and Hiroaki Hirata, the Japanese voice actors behind Usopp and Sanji from One Piece will be visiting India soon.

The voice actors are flying to Mumbai on April 12, 2025, to meet their fans at the upcoming Comic Con. This marks the first-ever visit to India for these voice actors.
Sharing the excitement of their trip to Mumbai, Kappei Yamaguchi (Voice of Usopp) said: “I’m visiting Mumbai for the first time! It’s always so exciting to be able to meet One Piece fans from across the globe. Let’s all have a fun time together!”
Hiroaki Hirata (Voice of Sanji) shared, “I’m very excited for my first visit to India. I’ll learn lots of Indian recipes so I can prepare them for Nami and the others! Ladies of Mumbai, wait for me, okay?”

One Piece is a Japanese anime television series based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga series of the same name. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as the “One Piece” in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
